Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups vegetable oil, omit if baking
  • 1 tbsp. lemon pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • lemon wedges, for garnish

Instructions

Frying

  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan/skillet to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, stir olive oil, salt and lemon pepper seasoning. Set aside.
  3. Fry the chicken wings in hot oil until no longer pink at the the bone and juices run clear, about 8 minutes. Internal temperature near the bone should read 165°F.
  4. Remove wings from oil, pat dry with a paper towel. Toss wings with olive oil and Lemon Pepper seasoning mixture to coat.
  5. Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy.

Baking

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, stir olive oil, salt and lemon pepper seasoning. Set aside.
  3. Transfer wings to a large rimmed baking sheet with metal rack and bake until golden and crispy, about 50 minutes. Internal temperature near the bone should read 165°F.
  4. Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy.
